My first “large” network installation exemplified the joint effort required to pull off a complex installation. Supervising roofers, low voltage cablers, carpenters, and internet service providers helped me understand the relevance of effective communication. I configured the router and access points as well as scheduled installations and coordinated the involved parties. The final result was mall-wide WiFi with separate networks for tenants, guests, and mall management. Since installation, I have assisted with any issues that have arisen as well as periodic security upgrades.
